Salem

Salem is small, and that is the point. The Witch House, the Witch Village, the Old Burying Point cemetery and the House of the Seven Gables sit within a few streets of each other, with the harbour at the end of them.

It works as a day trip from Boston or as a stop on the way north — one full day is enough to see it properly.
