Hotel 1868 - Review
In this article you will be able to find my recommendation about Hotel 1868 and you can click on BOOK HERE button and be able to book the hotel.

Distance From Logan Airport
20 Minutes by car or 40 minutes by subway
Hotel 1868 is located in Cambridge, just north of Boston. While it is not part of the city of Boston itself, it offers quick and convenient access to both Cambridge and Boston attractions. The hotel is situated just a 2 minute walk from Porter Station on the Red Line subway, making it easy to navigate the area.
From the airport, you can reach the hotel by taxi or rental car in approximately 20 minutes. Public transportation is also available and takes about 40 minutes.
Dining & Location
The hotel does not serve breakfast, but there are several excellent cafés and diners just around the corner. Harvard University is only one stop away on the Red Line, and continuing on the same line will bring you into central Boston in about 15 minutes.
Hotel Style & Room Options
Hotel 1868 has a boutique feel and offers simple but comfortable accommodations at an affordable price point. The design is modern, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and storage is available in the drawers beneath the bed, though the bed height may feel slightly elevated to some guests.
The hotel offers two room types: Standard Queen Room (19 m²) or Budget Queen Room which is a bit smaller (15 m²).
Prices can be similar, though the Standard Queen Room may be slightly more expensive depending on the season. In my experience, the Standard Queen Room feels more spacious, stylish, and refined though preferences may vary.
Pro Tips
Parking: Hotel parking is available but quite expensive at $28 per day. As an alternative, street parking is free overnight from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., as well as all day on Sundays.
Tap water: Tap water in many parts of the U.S. can have a noticeable chlorine like smell, but it is safe to drink. If you prefer, you can purchase bottled water at the supermarket located next to the hotel.
Power Adaptor: If you are traveling from outside the United States, don’t forget to bring a U.S. power adapter, as American electrical outlets may differ from those in your home country.
Transparency note: I stayed in this hotel in person and combined my review with additional research.
