5-Day Itinerary in Northern Sardinia: A Perfect Balance of Relaxation & Adventure

If you’re dreaming of a laid back yet enriching getaway surrounded by crystal clear waters, charming villages, and unforgettable landscapes, Sardinia is the perfect destination. This 5-day itinerary is focused on the northern part of the island, offering a mix of relaxation, light adventure, and local charm. You’ll also find my top hotel recommendations, all bookable via the provided links.

Before planning your adventure, discover what makes Sardinia such an extraordinary destination. From its ancient Nuragic heritage and spectacular coastlines to its distinctive traditions and relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere, explore more in my article Discovering Sardinia: Italy’s Island of Timeless Beauty.

When is the best time to travel to Sardinia?

Please note that the best time to visit Sardinia would be between May and June and September to October, as during those months the weather is very pleasant and not too hot, it’s not so crowded, and there are lower prices than in the high session of July and August.

Check out my hotel recommendations: the Hotel Marana, the I Ginepri Hotel, and the Corte Bianca Resort & SPA, for more information about hotels and booking.

💡 Pro Tip: Renting a car through DiscoverCars is highly recommended, prices are competitive and it makes a market research with the best and cheapest price. You will need one to explore the island, believe me, there is much more flexibility with a car and you will be able to explore other amazing places.
