Hotel Marana - Review

Hotel Marana is located in the Marinella region, approximately a 20 minute drive from Olbia Airport and just a 5 minute walk from the beach and a charming marina area with several quality restaurants. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and professional.

The hotel rooms are modern, spacious, and impeccably clean. The hotel consists of a complex of buildings, and most rooms are located on the ground floor or the first floor. Guests staying on the ground floor enjoy a large private terrace, perfect for relaxing outdoors, while those on the first floor can take in the views from a pleasant balcony.

Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast, which is generally well received, though a wider selection of vegetables and pastries would enhance the offering. Guests can also find a welcoming bar, and a freshwater outdoor pool surrounded by lush gardens. Guests can also benefit from free use of umbrellas and sun loungers in a reserved beach area exclusive to Hotel Marana guests.

The hotel also provides free WiFi, complimentary parking, luggage storage, and services for guests with disabilities. In case you have a late flight, you can still use the facilities of the hotel and there is the possibility to have a shower after the pool.

Things to Consider

The beverage prices at the hotel bar are relatively high, and there is no complimentary bottled water or coffee machine in rooms, something that may be missed, particularly upon arrival in warmer weather.

While hotel Marana offers a high standard of service and amenities, the rates can be on the higher side for a four-star property. To secure the best value, early booking is recommended.
